Form fitting pants or shorts, gym tennis shoes, a towel and water.

Form fitting pants or shorts, a mat, a towel and water.

WE SELL WATER AND RENT TOWELS AND SPIN SHOES. OUR BIKES HAVE SPD and LOOK PEDALS. WE ALSO HAVE CAGES FOR TENNIS SHOES.

 

Class Descriptions:

Power Cycling (Based on Spinning):
A 40-45 minute ride to music. Based on the premise of Spinning but incorporating mental stamina and emotional release. Close attention paid to musical variety, and specific bodywork. You will be taken through a series of sprints, climbs and jumps. This is interval training at it’s finest designed to bring about ultimate cardio and strength conditioning. Every class ends with Push-ups and Sit-ups to ensure a full body workout.

Power Cycling (Based on Spinning) /Yoga:
A 30 minute ride to music. Based on the premise of Spinning but incorporating mental stamina and emotional release. Close attention paid to musical variety, and specific bodywork. You will be taken through a series of sprints, climbs and jumps. Interval training used to bring about strong cardio and strength conditioning. Followed by 30 minutes of strong, body sculpting standing poses, hip openers, core work and deep stretching. Awesome combo that takes the best of both practices and speaks to the lengthening and strengthening concept of cross-training.

Power Cycling (Based on Spinning) /Sculpt:
A 35-40 minute ride to music. Based on the premise of Spinning but incorporating mental stamina and emotional release. Close attention paid to musical variety, and specific bodywork. You will be taken through a series of sprints, climbs and jumps. Interval training used to bring about strong cardio and strength conditioning. Followed by 25 minutes of weight training with light weights and high repetitions. Core work finishes off this awesome workout.

Power Cycling/Total Body:
A 60 minute combo class with 30 min. of Power Cycling followed by a mixture of Barre, Pilates and light weights for Total Body Toning!

Yoga:
A 60 minute class mixing the disciplines of Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Anusara. The class differs every week in an effort to not become stale and repetitive. Great for the practiced Yogi and the curious beginner. Beginners will always be given modifications and props to allow them to get better. The class also includes a short meditation to facilitate the right frame of mind to practice Yoga.

Restorative Yoga:
A 60 minute class of Restorative Yoga designed to calm you down and stretch you out from your hard week of workout. Heathor has designed this class especially to speak to the tightness and stress of Power Cycling, Sculpting and Yoga. Questions & newbies are welcomed & encouraged. We here at Lotus Kitty really urge you to put this into your weekly schedule to avoid injury and to culminates the week with an imaginative, inspiring, & relaxing Restorative practice that will take you to a deeper state of health & a calmer YOU!
